Financial Analyst
Role
Working closely with the CFO, you will play a key role in the preparation and analysis of the company and group’s accounting data. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements, structured financial reports, supporting strategic planning and monitoring economic performance. In addition, you will supervise the activities carried out by the administrative outsourcer and coordinate the tax consultant to ensure regulatory compliance and optimisation of tax obligations. Through timely and detailed evaluations, you will help to ensure the efficient use of resources and the achievement of business objectives.
Responsibilities
Administrative/Accounting tasks
General and analytical accounting
- Supervision of the administrative outsourcer and coordination of outsourced accounting activities: invoicing, reconciliations, accounting entries;
- Coordination of basic and analytical accounting entries (cost centres, margins, allocations) to ensure accurate financial information;
- Constant monitoring of the integrity and reliability of accounting data extracted from the accounting system.
Budget preparation and control
- Verification of settlement, integration and adjustment entries at the end of the period (e.g. adjustments, accruals, depreciation);
- Supervision of the preparation of the annual and/or consolidated financial statements, ensuring their completeness and compliance with OIC/IFRS/GAAP;
- Detailed analysis of balance sheet items (inventory, intra-group receivables/payables, severance pay, risk provisions) and validation of accounting data.
- Verification of data quality and compliance with operating deadlines.
Reporting and management report
- Production of the management report attached to the financial statements, analysing costs, revenues, investments, risks and strategic directions;
- Preparation of periodic management reports addressed to the CFO.
Internal control and accounting compliance
- Definition, implementation and monitoring of internal accounting controls (e.g. reconciliations, internal audit);
- Collaboration with internal audit, board of statutory auditors and support in the audit of financial statements.
Financial Analysis
Analysis and interpretation of financial data
- Collection, monitoring and interpretation of data from financial statements, balance sheet and cash flow reports;
- Analysis of company and group performance, identifying trends, deviations and opportunities.
Financial reporting
- Production of periodic reports to support strategic decisions (e.g. financial statements, budgets, forecasts);
- Presentation of results to the CFO and stakeholders with visual and clear analysis.
Management audit
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning by preparing and updating financial forecasts and budget plans;
- Continuous monitoring of costs and revenues and analysis of deviations from the budget;
- Timely identification of deviations and formulation of corrective actions.
Tax activities
Preparation and supervision of tax fulfilments
- Coordination with the external tax consultant for the preparation and validation of tax declarations (VAT, IRES, IRAP, Intrastat forms, etc.);
- Verifying the timing of telematic submission and sending of declarations, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Tax compliance and regulatory monitoring
- Continuous updating with respect to new national and European legislation (e.g., TUIR evolution, anti-avoidance, special regimes);
- Review of internal tax procedures and updating of company policies in relation to regulatory changes.
Requirements
Education and Technical Skills
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines.
- Previous experience of 2 years in similar roles.
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and tax regulations.

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
